Simply replace the battery. I have had mine for a few years. The Red Light was not coming On but I was I was able to shoot with the unit attached to the camera. Once I replaced the battery, the transmitter was able to query the receiver (Red Light) came on, AF worked and I was clicking while standing feet away from my D300.?
